Arshdeep Bhakar joined Treethorpe in January 2024 as a Legal Counsel, bringing in a wealth of legal knowledge and experience in commercial law, wills and probate, and civil and commercial litigation.
Arshdeep holds both an LLB and an LLM in LPC from the City University of London, where he graduated with a 2:1 in LLB and earned a distinction in LLM. His academic achievements reflect his dedication and passion for the legal field.
Arshdeep began his legal career at a prestigious Legal 500 law firm in central London. During his tenure there, he worked on a broad spectrum of complex legal matters, including intricate commercial law cases, multi-million-pound litigation, and high net worth private client work. His role involved providing strategic legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, and representing clients in multi million pound litigation matters, which significantly enhanced his expertise and versatility as a legal professional. This diverse and demanding environment honed his legal acumen and prepared him for his current role as an in-house legal counsel at Treethorpe.
Transitioning to an in-house role at Treethorpe, Arshdeep continues to leverage his extensive experience to benefit the company and its clients. His responsibilities include overseeing legal compliance, managing corporate legal affairs, and advising on Treethorpe’s estate administration practice. His proactive approach and keen understanding of both the commercial and legal landscapes enable him to navigate complex legal challenges effectively, ensuring that Treethorpe remains compliant, maintains a seamless estate administration practice, and is well-positioned for continuous growth.
