How my role at Treethorpe has been a transformative journey.
Adapting to the shift away from face-to-face client interactions has posed a significant challenge for me.
Transitioning from a retail environment to an office-based role at Treethorpe has been a transformative journey for me. Navigating the shift from face-to-face client interactions to virtual communication channels presented its challenges, yet it’s precisely these challenges that have fuelled my growth and adaptability.
Every day at Treethorpe provides new learning opportunities, and I thrive in this dynamic environment where continuous growth is not just encouraged but embraced. The transition has been seamless, thanks to the unwavering support and guidance provided by the company’s leadership and my dedicated colleagues.
One of the most significant hurdles I faced upon joining Treethorpe was acclimatising to tasks that were previously unfamiliar to me, particularly in areas like accounting and genealogical research. However, with the company’s comprehensive training and mentorship programs, I’ve quickly gained proficiency in reading and understanding CSOAs and have developed a keen understanding of genealogical research methodologies.
What truly drew me to Treethorpe was the profound opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives, particularly in the realm of family reunification. This sense of purpose drives my passion for the work I do each day, propelling me to continually strive for excellence and innovation in my role.
I found the fact that Treethorpe has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold accreditation as an advantage in working for the firm, and speak volumes about the company’s commitment to its staff’s well-being and professional development. This internationally recognised standard is awarded to organisations that demonstrate excellence in people management and employee engagement, making it a testament to Treethorpe’s dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
I hope to continue to enhance my skills within my role to optimise my contributions to the firm.
